OUR JOURNEY
Herbert started in the moving business right out of high school in 1993, working for a local mover. In 1996, Herbert got a Class A CDL and started relocating people across the country as a company driver for United Van Lines. In 1998, he bought his first semi to become a owner-operator. His wife, Kristina Barnes, also started in the moving business in 1998, as a local packing contractor for multiple United Van Lines agents. In 2010, Kristina and Herbert joined forces and became team owner-operators, performing corporate relocations for United Van Lines from coast to coast. In 2018, they decided it was time to apply their experience and dedication to a new venture, opening Superior Transport & Relocation, LLC. With a large van line, customers become a name and a number. Herbert and Kristina believe all customers deserve compassion and professionalism. They recognize that not all moves are the same and are for different reasons. This makes moving one of the most stressful things a person or family can do.

We are a Full Service Moving Company which includes a professional packing crew. When hiring Superior Transport and Relocation, LLC for your packing services, you can live normal up to a few days before your move out date. Our dedicated staff will provide the proper packing techniques to insure all your most valued possessions make the transit to your new home. Is this service not for you? We will also provide packing tips, proper material needed, and material counts to help you to pack yourself a bit easier. A properly packed box provides structure in the truck, protecting the contents of the box & providing stability to the overall load.

BLANKET WRAPPING
At Superior Transport and Relocation, LLC we blanket wrap nearly everything. Whether it be a fine wood table or old rusted yard tools, if it touches anything in the truck, it's going in a pad. This concept insures a tight and stable load process which reduces the risk or scratched or broken items.
There are three types of pads: Heavy Pads, Skin (Burlap) Pads, & Paper pads.
We Guarantee your items will be fully protected during transport by using a mixture of the 3 types of pads, We protect everything...
HEAVY PADS BURLAP PADS PAPER PADS SHRINKWRAP
Heavy Pads:
- Heavy pads are thick like a comforter used for protection to finished wood & other valuable items (ex. Tables, Dressers, Headboards).
Skin (Burlap) Pads:
- A thinner pad used to protect smaller and less prone to damage items (skis, guitar cases, bikes)
Paper Pads:Â
- Used to give extra protection under heavy pads to delicate finishes. They work well when wrapping your lawn tools or soiled outdoor items. We also can use for protection when placing items into public storage when requested.
Shrink-wrap:
-Stretchy film used to protect upholstered furniture and used to secure pads to furniture.
MATTRESS PROTECTION
We want all of our customers to experience the impressive level of professionalism when working with Superior Moving & Transportation. All your mattress will be packed in mattress bags to guarentee they are clean at your destination. You can trust us to supply you with the best products, as well as top quality customer service.

Are you moving a Grand Piano, Wine Collection, or Piccasso artwork?  Superior Transport & Relocation has you covered. We provide professional Piano moving on specialized equipment for all your location needs. When moving specialized artwork or wine collections, we can provide customized crating and some climate control services for those hot summer months.
